  • Collaborate with regional stakeholder groups (governments, industry associations, think tanks) to gather insights and align the strategy with national priorities.
3. Strategy and Capacity Building Support (10%)
  • Support the design and delivery of 2 x 3-day capacity building workshops focused on energy-intensive sectors and decarbonisation strategies.
  • Draft briefings, presentations, and knowledge products to communicate strategic insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Synthesise inputs into cohesive strategy recommendations and contribute to report drafting and final outputs.

  • Familiarity with SE Asian countries, exposure to Indonesia or Vietnam a plus.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills – ability to support a complex programme delivered by a lean team, maintaining direction while adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility in approach and comfortable in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment.
  • Proactive and self-starter, appetite for working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Clear, high-quality communication: verbal, written, presentation. Ability to develop compelling storylines based on quantitative and qualitative data, and write concise, well-structured documents conveying clear but subtle messages.
